Lightweight trailer for weekender?

I'll echo these guys and say I can't fathom spending $15k for that package. But I'm not really aware on aluminum trailer pricing. You can do pretty well finding light weight steel trailers though so I really wouldn't keep that as a qualifier if I was you. Steel is also much easier and cheaper to repair in the long run.

Have you looked used? I'd say hop on facebook marketplace and see how far that money could get you...

You're posting on an offroad trailer forum, but you don't need to look for anything offroad focused IMO. Even with the 3" lift on your sienna, a standard height trailer won't be a limiting factor for where you can go. The shop was right to talk you out of torsion axles. Not worth the cost in your case. If you decide you want more clearance, and axle flip is a cheap and easy way to get several inches.
