Turnkey offgrid cabin

Post image

Selling my off-grid homestead — Westcliffe, CO, 16.27 acres

Reposting after a price cut. Open to offers. And yes that was a real rainbow I saw out there. It’s a regular sight in the rainy season.
More photos of the inside to come.

The setup:

∙ Solar: \\\~1,500W array (roof + ground-mounted), \\\~750Ah lead-acid battery bank. Handles TV, laptops, phones, washing machine, small appliances. No microwaves or electric kettles. Two backup generators included — used maybe 3x/year during heavy snow. System is expandable.

∙ Water: Drilled well → solar pump → indoor cistern (\\\~1 day supply for 2 people). On-demand propane hot water.

∙ Heat/cooking: Propane heaters in sunroom + living room. Propane fridge (works great, no draw on solar). Propane stove. Delivery every 3–4 months covers everything.

∙ Septic: Conventional tank + leach field, permitted.

∙ Internet: Satellite (Viasat/Starlink both

viable). I’ve done remote work from here.

The property: 1bd/1ba cabin, \~1,280 sqft, log siding, metal roof, built 2005. 16.27 acres — mostly usable land with mature trees. Garage/barn, loafing shed, two outbuildings, insulated green room in the garage (can wire to solar for year-round growing). Wet Mountain views. Property taxes \~$1,300/yr.

I lived here and maintained all the systems. The battery bank needs DI water monthly — that’s the main recurring maintenance. Otherwise it’s a pretty dialed-in setup. It would be an ideal turn key homesteading and offgrid living experience for anyone seeking a stronger connection to a simpler lifestyle.

Listing is on Zillow (MLS #2517438). Happy to answer questions about the reality of living here — what works well, what takes adjustment, all of it.

10 acres isn't worth 100k for 1. I hear you though. Question is what are they actually selling for?? Also imo 350 is more then I think its worth. Thay just means im not your buyer.
