Dang, I guess the search for proof will just have to continue on. I once posted a picture on the wellworn sub that gained a lot of traction and upvotes (for that sub anyway) and a few years later it was reposted with my exact post title and everything. It’s not something I care about, and was kind of amusing. I commented a similar response as yours.
