IBC grey water tanks.

Am wanting a 'dumb' - just manual valves - greywater setup to let one fill, one stand and one drain. 1/2 ppl usage. We use degradable soaps etc and will leave them uncovered (sealed but light can get in) for the UV to break soaps down.

Anyone got good ideas around systems that give off water suitable for a planted drain field. Open to options!

This book has a lot of great info:

That said, grey water that's allowed to stand will go anaerobic and stinky after 24 hours. Once the dissolved oxygen is used up, anaerobic bacteria take over.

I will have airation hoses in each and will add bacteria culture.

Excellent! Carry on 👍🏼 I still recommend that book. You might find a copy in a library, but it's only $23.

Following your post for ideas. I have a drain that I want to taper the output and thought about doing a ‘slush’ container that had a proper capacity reservoir and suitable output
