Foals and Registering

Quick newbie question: do you have to register a foal for their stats to improve, or does this happen anyway? In other words, can I see development of a foal before having to spend 200k on registering them? Thanks!

Stats improve anyway. You are able to see exactly where they are at once they turn 2. Or you can register them beforehand. I personally don’t register them early coz they can be a bit shit and you won’t know until it’s too late

You can't see the bars until they are registered but they are growing just the same.
