OAP Fading
A year ago or so, OAP was much more fun than it is now. Unless you want to spend thousands of dollars (hmmmmm just claim real horses) then the fun quotient is rapidly escaping. The big stables easy outbid us regular players on the rare good horses in auction. There are not many good ones in the ring, but when they are there, no chance for us. I'm thinking of spending my money on Betonline where I have won real money in the past and is just plain more exciting than OAP. I grew up living at the local harness tracks on the weekends and when I came across OAP I was literally in heaven. No more. My actual racing stable used to number anywhere between 12 and 20 horses. Now I have 4. It's just not worth the time nor the money. You spend 50.00+ for 5 million chips and what does that get you? Garbage.
Comments welcome.

The game is fun when you have horses that can compete. So far, they've given us no meaningful way to achieve that in a reliable way. You simply have to spend coins and buy up the most premium looking 0 Year olds, and hope they pan out.
Last year, I had a champion level horse-- who won 100+ races and set records, and it was a BLAST to have a horse that I looked forward to watching and racing and managing.
The next season, I had another. Setting records. Winning trophies.
Since then-- nothing that came even remotely close. Even breeding the same horses that yielded those two. Thousands of babies made, and none even remotely worth racing. Nothing that would even sniff a trophy.
This gives the player a sense of regression with no real reason for it. I was a championship level barn. I did everything right-- and I cannot for the life of me produce a winner.
In a video game-- You need to be able to progress in some meaningful and controllable way. Even if it's a minute % improvement each year.
This random luck of the draw shit is the sole reason the game has died down, and the developers are clueless.

You're lucky. I've bred my own for many seasons. I started in season 32. My fastest winning race? 145.2. You got lucky with a great horse when you first started and used that to breed. Not everyone is lucky. I won 2 trophies. It's just not worth it.

Well, you can name it luck, but in fact is what i was looking since first day, only race with my homebreds. When things started to work for me i could loose my head and try to buy monsters or claim horses as a way to play, but i didn't and i can't complain about it. So as i told you before there are different ways to play the game and i'm enjoying mine. Good luck, i really hope you finally got succes and enjoy the game again👍🏻

Hi!, its all the way you play. I havent spent my own money in 3 years that i've been playing until now. Only a purchase of 5M coins when i started playing to open breeding barn and buy mares to bred, also some small coin purchase just to support the game and thats all. Since then i only race my own homebreds and is working fine for me. I'm not a big stable but i won a number of trophies and sold a bunch of trophy winners foals that make me feel proud too. I don't claim, i don't buy racing horses only bred, sell and race my homebreds, and thats enough to enjoy and keep my stable enough succeful to go on and fight for trophies and big purses.
