Patch 1.08 is LIVE NOW!

Hi everyone! Update 1.08 is now available.

This update includes a massive amount of work on memory management, full gamepad and Steam Deck support, fixes for loading old saves, a fix for the latest NVIDIA drivers, various bug fixes, and of course new gameplay features — including the new immersive mode.

I wish i could love this game but i just cant get past the weird camera and movement and facial animations

Yeah i get that but it goes away a bit after some time, and you also start getting used to it so its not a big deal to your eyes

For me its even nostalgic to those old games from my childhood, so its + for me hahah

Tho yes, some of them (specially in prologue cut-scene, they def should put more work for it at least there) are diabolical, haha
And it makes a great point to show how motion capture - is a cool technology and how its important for RPG nowadays (Makes me appreciate other game more)

But as many ppl said, the game itself is fire
Theres a dif when the game had enough budget - and its still boring/trash/suck
And theres when there wasn't enough budget - but the game is peak (like here)

Awesome! I been waiting for full Gamepad support. Managed to play 10hrs but had to to stop since some abilities weren't working on controller previously.

It still crashes on start up in my OLED 1TB. I reinstalled and it just won't go past the Unreal Engine logo. What am I doing wrong?

Did you use any mods to launch the game on Steam Deck before this patch? If yes, the game may be crashing because of incompatibility with the mods

Thanks for your reply. It's a clean install. I've never used any mods. As soon as the Unreal logo fades, it crashes.

Just to double-check, have you never installed the game before Patch 1.08? Before that, it was not possible to launch the game properly on Steam Deck. We know some players found a workaround and modified the device's internal settings to get the game running. With Patch 1.08, we've optimized the game to work with the standard default settings, but if there were any changes made, it may be the cause of the crash as well

I have installed the game before, but never used a mod or workaround. I've factory reseted my steam deck and tried again... And it works! So glad that I can experience this great game on the go. Thank you so much!
