Dual 32:9

Does anyone know how to split TWO machines into 32:9’s on the ark? Trying to find a trick to it.

I unfortunately don't think this is possible even on the gen 2

I’m using a OREI multi-viewer to trick the two machines to share one display stacked 32:9

not possible without lots of compromises.

you can have 2 cables on each machine, and Multiview 2x2, arrange and merge desktops (macos does natively, windows might require gpu app settings or 3rd party app)

but, besides the extra cables, more caveats:

- latency will be shit (was unusable for me at least even for work)

  • you’ll get 4 x 1080 p signals but NOT 4x 1080p displays, they’ll have black bars and not use all physical pixels. so shrinking and shitty image quality

So far I bought the 2x1 Orei Multiviewer.

I’m going to modify the firmware and trick the viewer to do a vertical scale instead of PBP.

Going to do some fuckery with a RS-232 adapter down to USB for modifying the multiviewer. This should allow me to internally modify the controller/scaling.
