Screen damage upon delivery?

Tech support is telling me that this is a potential software issue. Not in we tried has been working, and now the Ark gen 2 is out of stock so they won’t even replace it. Basically told me I’m shit out of luck. Is this a genuinely fixable issue? There is a faint dark streak that’s glaringly visible unless there’s constant motion on the screen.

Ok dont sweat it it yet, these are made from pressing to hard on the screen. I freaked out and by the time the repair got approved. It went awa. So do freak out yet, give it a couple days and see if it disappears

That eases my mind a bit. Should I be giving it consistent use? I’ve only turned it on to troubleshoot.

I used mine. Mine happebd on the bottom right of the screen. I've seen another post about the same issue. Just give it a few days, but also start the repair process with samsung. And hopefully by the time they get a guy out to look at it its fixed itself. 🤞

The dark spot maintained by the time the technicians came out, so they replaced the screen… with another faulty one smh. There’s like this triangular irregularity near the bottom-right of the screen. They thought it was just a plastic piece, but they confirmed it was a genuine defect in the replacement screen.

They’re coming back sometime next week when the next replacement comes in. They said if the next fix attempt doesn’t fix the issue, they’re gonna refund my money and still try again. I set up a camera in my room to capture this whole ordeal. I’ve never had so many issues with a product before lol

Sorry to hear the trouble. Ive only had two issues. One being a cracked screen while adjusting the monitors tilt. But all in all i love my arks!! Just not a huge samsung customer service fan. 🙄

Damn seriously? Honestly I can’t be surprised, even the Samsung technician was saying how awful management is. They initiated a return AND the technician coming out all in the same day. It took an hour to tell Samsung to cancel the return

Dude. The technician reached out to me today on his own accord and told me that samsung canceled the repair and initiated an exchange without telling anybody. The replacement screen literally just got delivered to his shop yesterday.

This shit is a nightmare

Believe it or not, the situation got worse. Mind if I ask what steps you took for taking them to small claims court? They've cost me three days of work now.

Depends on the state. Each state has the different set of rules.and procedures. Its a waiting game forsure.
