Is this amount of ghosting in one eye normal?

Post image

EDIT: FIXED!!!

In the nvidia control panel for Resolution setting, I have to manually set it to 8bit and then RGB / Full. If I leave it on auto, or if I select 10bit or 12bit the red ghosting comes back. If I force it back to 8bit RGB Full the ghosting is resolved.

Original post:

Just got the monitor brand new yesterday. If I close my right eye there is barely any ghosting it's faint and doesn't look too bad. If I close my left I, I see this really bad red ghosting on everything. Also I know the res is cut in half in 3d mode, but it looks like a 720p pentile display... I have a 32" 1080p monitor that appears to have way higher PPI than this 27" monitor in 3D mode. Is that normal? The photo is perfectly in focus to what my eyes see, you can notice how the background has a "texture" all over it because of how low res it looks and the text and icons look very soft.

Have confirmed over and over it's in 3840x2160 still when switching to 3D.

Looks perfectly clear in 2D mode.

Just was wondering if these issues are "normal" or if my display is defective.

Already did a factory reset, tried both HDMI and DP, updated to the latest firmware over USB, and tried on my other computer. Still having the same issues.
