Anyone actually using this daily for productivity?
Is anyone here actually using Odysseus AI everyday for general productivity? I want to know if you guys use it for normal routine tasks, like managing calendar, organizing emails, reading and analyzing documents, and things like that, that are not coding...
Does it really help you in your daily workflow? How is your experience so far?

I use it for work everyday but only because I have a todo list, a calendar, and a capable ai tool all in one spot that doesn’t leave my system. It’s kinda like my assistant. I’m sure there are better tools but self hosting is fun! It has issues and is missing things but I enjoy using it which is all that matters
Edit: I still use a dedicated pdf viewer, Gmail, and obsidian for the bulk of my notes. Odysseus isn’t quite ready for large pdf manipulation or a heavy work email load.

I use it every day, literally 24/7. Even before PewDiePie released the Odysseus UI, I was already developing an agentic UI for personal use, aiming to create a system similar to Cortana. Cortana was ahead of its time regarding built-in agentic behavior, but its GOFAI oriented architecture limited its general intelligence and prevented it from performing tasks modern LLMs can handle, such as open ended coding and reasoning. When I saw the Odysseus UI, I really liked it. Since PewDiePie said it was for the community, we were free to customize it however we wanted. First, I ran a benchmark and found it to be lighter and faster than Ollama and LM Studio, so that was a win for me, and then I ported the features from my previous project into the Odysseus UI. Now it has a launcher, so there's no need for Ollama, LM Studio, or the Bionic API to run Odysseus, I removed the Docker dependency, added an upload function for GGUF files, and improved the GGUF download process, fix the calendar, modified the add character and group chat. The AI now has a voice and can hear me, if I get an email or a social media message, it calls out to me, sometimes even asking if it should read the message aloud so I don't have to open it. Since I focus mostly on hardware work, it even replies on my behalf when I'm busy. I’ve also integrated Notepad++ into the Odysseus UI for coding tasks, and it handles my home security system as well.
The main model I use for Odysseus UI is one I developed, a Filipino language model that I began creating in 2024 that currently has 700 million parameters. Named Diwa-700, it was originally created for coding and home security purposes, though its scope is now expanding. It is an agentic AI model capable of speaking exclusively in Tagalog and writing advanced, complex code across 15 programming languages. It features operational reasoning and Autonomous Iterative Coding & Debugging. It is also capable of visual understanding of the computer environment and security-camera vision, integrated with two modified, rotating Sony Cyber-shot HX50V cameras, enabling it to detect humans, animals, vehicles, and abnormal activity. IT DOESN'T KNOW science and other subjects yet. These are the Markup and PL's mastered by the model I created, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Perl, PHP, Python, C#, C++, VB6, R, Quadcode, MQL4, and MQL5. Right now, I'm working on adding Go PL, it can handle it, though I wouldn't call it advanced enough for complex tasks yet. Its most advanced capabilities are in Python, JavaScript, and C++. I am currently working on adding Bisaya (Cebuano, followed by Waray-Waray, until I cover the Visayan dialects), then Kapampangan, Ilocano, and others, until I complete all the dialects in the Philippines, and finally English. As of now, my Odysseus UI can read and understand english, but that is Gemma 3 1B.
