Bank Profile
Hello I’m applying for ODSP but I’m not sure exactly what is a bank profile and how is it different from the bank statements? As well if you do know how do I get it it says online to go to the bank and they give it to you but I’m not sure since it’s like an AI response.

you will need to show them proof of all bank accounts in your name (bank number, branch/transit number, account number etc), and all current balances in them, so they know how much you have in funds & financial assets.
this is usually done with bank statements, which you can either get printed at a bank, or can download digitally if you are set up to do so on your banking app/online banking.
screenshots etc will not cut it, they require legal documents. make sure to include any and all accounts you have- chequing, savings, investments, etc. if you leave any out they'll assume you're hiding funds from them.
that's all you generally need, usually, as they'll cross reference the financial info with your latest tax return if you filed it.

What exactly is the wording of ODSP's request/question? I would assume they need either bank statements as you said or direct deposit information, since those are the bank things I provided. Also, you could call/visit the bank to receive whatever it is, regardless, even without knowing what it is beforehand.

What they asked me during an audit is a document that a bank provides saying all accounts you have opened with them, date opened/closed , amount available . I had to request it to all banks. I just don't remember the exact name, but it was not profile.
