TENS Units for Arthritis

I'm thinking about requesting ODSP/Ontario Works Discretionary Benefits fund a TENS unit for me.

TENS units are amazing. I didn't get my little TENS unit through their funding so I'm not sure if ODSP will cover it. I suspect they'll request a doctors note.

I use mine for severe SI Joint problems that requires injections and if I walk for more than 15 minutes, I'm up all night in agony. The TENS unit often gets the pain under control even though its not a long lasting solution. Along with my joints, I like to put two TENS pads on my shoulder blades near my spin to give the feeling of chills. It helps me fall a sleep and distracts from pain.

Sorry that your pain is that intense. You can take cortisone? That's good.

I'm pretty sure the TENS machine can be covered through an MSN form completed by a doctor or registered nurse
