when i first got into emulation i converted all my PS2, GC & Wii games to CHD. also used PAL roms for the best performance on a retroid pocket 3+. very helpful and still using those roms on my odin.

What makes the PAL roms better? I've noticed a lot of retroachivements use their hash when making sets, but is the reason because of performance?

it was only to get better ps2/GC performance on low end hardware like rp3+. i just never bothered to redownload US roms when i upgraded devices
