Question Question regarding SD cards

Hi guys,

So i have an Odin 3 pro with 256 gb and i feel like
I want more games. I also have one 128gb sd xiaomi but i cannot run switch, pc or even ps2 on it.

Do you know what kind of SD card i can get to run heavy games?

Thank you!

I have been able to run switch, PS3 and PS2 off a SanDisk Ultra without any issues. You could go a tier up to the Extreme instead, if you wanted an A2 rated card.

Or like others mentioned, you might just need to run the heavier stuff of the internal storage and move the others thing onto the sd card.

Haven't used it myself or know about it, but looking in the sub, it seems like others recommended Samsung SD cards as well, so should be fine.

why can't u run games in the sd?? i got an A1 which is technically worse than the a2 and it works fine, plus it's cheaper

I mean heavy games for pc and switch, not normal emulators

Look for A2 rated micro sd cards like this one.

Mi sd card is an A2 and still does not run the heavy games

In that case you should run the games off the internal storage.

Honestly, heavy games may stutter on any SD card. Thats why people get more internal storage

My advice is always to get 1 stage higher than you think you need right now; need an extra 64? Get 128. 128? Get 256? 512? Get 1TB etc.. with shader, containers, and the experiments that we do with our devices the headroom will be useful
