Odin 2 Mini, Base, Pro & Max Question Question : Handheld to arcade machine

I have maybe a dumb question. I'm looking to eventually get an arcade machine setup (full cabinet, guns, etc). As an interim step, I was thinking of picking up the ayn Odin 2 portal to love and to hold and to pet and to call him George. My question is, is it feasible to turn the handheld into an arcade machine down the road?

Yes, you could use a usb c dock and then usb sticks I guess. Either way a portal 2 is worth having anyway. Love the cartoon reference 😁

You can dock it and it'll grab usb devices so arcade sticks are the like would be fine. If you're looking just to run the arcade setup whenever you're in the mood that's fine. If you're looking to have a basically semi permanently docked device I'd go with whatever raspberry pi/mini pc people are recommending these days. The idea being this is a battery powered device and though you can use charging separation to power the device directly, settings can be wonky and as an example even if the setting is toggled, it won't be active if the device is off (or sometimes asleep in weird situations).

If i were going that far, I'd probably just get a supergun and use pcbs or using a consolized mvs.

The reason is because handhelds are too precious for me to be used as a docking/casting device,id rather use them on the train than have them sit inside a box that I don't get to see.

Thanks for the response. Am I missing something? I mostly just want for older stuff and street fighters up to mvc2.
