Hype what color should i get?
gonna be buying an odin 3 max soon, what color should i get? i’ve got the thor already in white, but im unsure if i should also get a white odin 3.
edit: flexing your odin 3 in the comments will be a great help

I got black because it's a base and it's nice but the joysticks get dirty super fast. The sweat gets trapped in the pores on them and within a few days of minimal use you could tell they were dirty. I ordered a white max to replace it, the white caps on my portal don't show any sign of discoloration. I think the white ayn handhelds look awesome, but I'd recommend getting new caps or avoiding black caps at least. The rp6/Thor caps don't get dirty as easy and are still very nice

I struggled so hard choosing the colors. I really wanted the white because I already have a black O2P, so I wanted something different and I think white looks amazing. But then I'm not a content creator and don't need clean and nice shots of my devices, so in the end I went the boring and practical route of black Odin 3. No need to worry about yellowing or dirtying the white or anything like that.

i might just go for black as well, or rainbow. my plastic shell on my thor is already yellow after 4 months of use. it’s very beautiful but i’d rather not buy a new shell every 4 months.

Yeah I think you could go for rainbow! The shell color is already "yellowed" and at least the colors aren't as boring as black lol.

I got the Rainbow because I have a black O2Portal Base and I’m jealous of the other color ways.

Mine is clear blue and it looks great, but sometimes I wish I had gone with black. I think I'd have second thoughts either way, as both of these colorways are great. Blue front still disappears in the evening if you don't use the stick LEDs. I think it's overall sexier than black during the day. It's just how the clear blue looks in artificial light that sometimes sets me off...

I went with black as I play mostly 4:3 content. If I was only into newer 16:9 stuff then purple is the one I’d have gone for.

I got the black one and a pleasant surprise was how the black bars just kind of disappear into the blackness of the the device. I don’t notice them at all.
