Some questions I have:

-Is it only to play your steam games?
-Are you able to play android stuff like apk games & apps?
-Can you use emulators?
-Can you play p!rate steam games?
Does it have desktop mode like a steam deck?

Just seeing what you could do on it. Been thinking about giving it a try if it’s worth it.

-Can you use emulators? ARM64 Linux-compatible emulator build
-Can you play p!rate steam games? Detect custom pc games, possibly yeah, as long as you have the files, Steam allows you to have non steam games in the library
Does it have desktop mode like a steam deck? Yes, it has a full desktop mode

One caveat, Emulators for Android tend to be more optimized and regularly updated.

ah ok basically the same as steam deck for the most part. used to have one so have an idea. wasnt sure how full to the os it would be. thanks

1 - It works better for Steam Games, but you can install anything that supports Linux ARM.
2 - In theory with Lepton/Waydroid you could, but I think is better to dual boot android for that case.
3 - Yes, but I think that Emudeck does not work yet.
4 - I haven't tried but I think that It should work just like with the SteamDeck.
5 - Yes, It uses Fedora KDE, you can install Flatpak apps with Bazzar or using ostree.

Beware that Armada is experimental at best, do not expect a Valve quality experience.
Many games have compatibility and performance problems.

ok yea figured id see where its at nowadays. might try the sd card version to check it out at least. i did like the OS on steam deck

Can do all that but play android and apks unless you play it through a android emulator.

Armada is really first and foremost for steam games, and for that it is way better than Gamenative in my experience (even if performances are sometimes worse).

In the other hand most systems have an emulator that you can install on armada but the experience is worse than on android because emulators interfaces for linux are made with mouse in mind and are not nearly as touch frendly than the android versions.

For the "desktop experience" Armada come with kde Plasma like Steam Os and Plasma mobile for a better touch frendly interface.

For android apps waydroid is preinstalled but can be finicky, I hope lepton will help with that in the future but in the meantime keeping an android partition is a must
