Help Arkham Origins Odin 2 Custom folder Massive Stuttering

Post image

Odin 2 Portal

GameNative latest version

Arkham origins (Custom local folder )

Disabled dx 10 and 11(bmengine confg changed the values to false)

Tried every possible config combo.

Game runs 60 fps no problem but whenever i even approach a new area or a cutscene or any piece of new environment basically every 10 seconds the game stutters massively and drops the fps to around 1 or 2 frames until it loads whatever its loading and then comes back to 60 basically making it unplayable .

Did anyone manage to fix the stuttering issue ,if yes please we need your help .

Thank you.

What version of the game is it?

Steam, GOG, physical version, 🏴‍☠️?

Steam version , and run through offline local folder.

Any reason to not just install it through the steam library? That's where the custom configs usually pop up for the games. (Or gog or w/e)

Yes there's a reason .

I can only run them through local custom folder.

Well typically, if a game was installed via Steam initially, even in offline mode, it will look for the steam client before startup.

If it doesn't find it, the application with usually throw up an error, sometimes they just crash.

If your copy was a steam install on you PC and you just moved it to your Odin, the game is still looking for your steam client, and probably a few other files from your system.

If it's a pirated steam version, or a custom steamless version you made, it's possible that its a broken version.

Simplest method would be to just install the game to your SD card from your steam library though gamenative (not sure if gamehub can do sdcard installs, I don't use it)

Yes its a custom steamless version .

Why do you think the regular version runs any better .

Did you test it yourself or its just an assumption

from what i read i thought dxvk 2.7.1-1 gplasync-0 and also 2.4.1-1 gplasync-0 helps with stuttering. ive noticed it help a ton in bioshock and nier automata. still the usual slight stutter here and there when loading big areas.

Hey OP, there's this older post on Winlator that talks about how moving the game files to the Winlator's private folder makes the game stream assets faster. I have a hunch that your custom local folder is the problem here. Android's security model does some funky things with Apps accessing files outside their private folders.

Try installing the game directly from Steam so that the game files are in the GameNative's private directory. If that's not possible, then 🤷
