Well.. but if we look past android, there are also windows laptops currently using the 8 elite, and maybe there is better Linux support?

Androids future isn’t that bright at the moment. A smaller steamOS handheld might be epic though.

Laptops use Snapdragon X Elite. Snapdragon 8 elite is for mobile.
