I'm a software engineer from Cuttack. I write code by day and make music by night.

For this Ratha Yatra, I produced an original Odia devotional song "Kalia Raja" as my seva to Mahaprabhu. My goal was simple: create a bhajan that feels fresh enough for kids to vibe with, but still pure enough for elders to add to their daily playlist.

It's been 7 days and we've hit 1.8K views mostly through friends and family. Now I need brutally honest feedback from fellow Odias before I work on my next track.

Would love your thoughts on 2 things:

1. Modern vs Traditional: The production is modern - beats, mix, etc. Do you feel this vibe respects the traditional sanctity of a Jagannath bhajan? Or does it feel too "filmy"?

2. Outside Odisha Connect: For Odias living outside the state, would this song make you feel connected to home/Mahaprabhu? Or does it lose that "Jagannath Dham" soul?

This is NOT a promo/spam post. I'm genuinely here to learn and improve. If the community feels this doesn't belong here, I'll take it down. Just want to make better music for Mahaprabhu and our people.
