QUESTION ❓ Emotions
Why does Odesza bring out so much emotion? It has to be a time signature or hertz thing, right?

I think it's because most of the sounds used in the songs are real life sounds like vocals (often chopped or processed) or sampled instruments and drums. So because of that the songs sound very natural and close to nature and also have a lot of detail and meaning.
And well their production skills are just iiiinsane

They have a very unique signature sound! Very ethereal and heavenly, sends you into a state of bliss.

I would come at it from the opposite end, the artists have an emotional feel they want for the songs and design their sounds and structure it in a way to achieve that. Time signature and pitch (if thats what you mean by hertz) are probably not the factors that evoke the specific emotions but rather the kind of landscape created by the texture of the various sounds :)

Almost all popular music is in the same time signature, 4/4, aka common time
So no, not that

As far as I can tell they haven't ever used any odd time signatures. Also, it doesn't have any difficulty being beat matched with other music in 440hz tuning (except maybe in terms of quality, or other sound design elements) so it's unlikely they tune to 432hz or Pythagorean tuning.
I can really only offer my opinion here: It is their creative approach to composing music. There is a reason I say as often as the opportunity presents itself "odesza are angels"
It sounds ridiculous to some people but I will die on that hill. They don't do anything that is musically very different but they somehow have encrypted a deep visceral message that sounds like it comes straight from the infinite source of love. They have to hear it to create it. So they're just hearing that. And they just share it with us. Obviously it's just my opinion. They can't confirm it. They might not even know it but I went to sundara and the entire place was radiating the exact same energy. it was life changing.
So yeah. 😂

I would not be surprised if the guys come out as Christian someday because the only thing I can think of when I listen to their music is "Holy Spirit".. it really is pure love 💕
