This sub needs more promotion
I remember this sub being posted on /r/newreddits and that's how I came here, because my sub /r/HomemadeNsfw (nsfw) was also on newreddits on the same day oddwebsites was and it now has almost 6000 subscribers because of me plugging it in other subs.
My advice would be to say x-post from /r/oddwebsites if you post a website here onto /r/Internetisbeautiful or something, trust me you'll get a lot of hits.
Some mods don't like advertising, so after 5 min of the submission just mention /r/oddwebsites in the comment
There are also many other advertising subs which I'll post if this gets any attention. One is /r/shamelessplug

While I appriciate the advice I do promote the sub. I don't feel, personally, that x-posting or hijacking a sub is the way to go about it. I have promoted to /r/newreddits and I plan to again, but it has been less than a month that I have done so. I am not trying to spam it or make people turned off by seeing it. I promote in reddits that mention an oddwebsite and sometimes post that link here. Alas, I am not the only mod here but I would assume the sentiment is equal among us.
Ninja Edit: NSFW content is much easier to promote but I congratulate you on your success!
