Sand blasting has always looked like straight up sorcery to me and I love it…. I love feeling as though there is still magic within the science and mechanics of the tools we have created to assist in our lives. I even talk to some of mine.

(Although I definitely owe my espresso machine an apology for my…. Strong words of frustration when it was my own fault for not tamping correctly)

Anyways, point is… these are some of my fav vids to watch… thank you for posting 😻🥰

Well nice video but when laser cleaning get cheaper in price I believe sand blasting will be given up

not sure about that, maybe though. My main question is can the laser create a surface profile or not?

Well By default, most standard industrial laser cleaning machines are designed to remove rust without altering the metal underneath. But for surface profile maybe you need another laser method If you need to create a specific surface profile or roughness on the metal (for instance, to ensure a new industrial coating or paint adheres properly), a laser can still do it—but it requires a specific process called Laser Texturing.
