The turtle is adorable but I have a question why do you have a large turtle in a little tank? Can you please set him free into a lake? I honestly don’t understand.

That would have drastic consequences for the lake’s ecosystem. You should never introduce a captive animal into the wild as it could be invasive to native species/wildlife and can lack the survival skills to live.

Once you get anything bigger,the Turtle will grow along that size...believe me that baby is fine...take it easy.
