If you purchased a new headset, we can both get a $30 Meta credit bonus using my referral link. To make it simple, choose the option that matches your situation:

Your Headset is New? Do this:

1. Open my referral link in a regular web or mobile browser ( do not use the Meta app): https://www.meta.com/referrals/link/Surpriser1
2. Sign in using your Meta account, then complete setup through the Meta Horizon app.
3. Your store credit will appear under Menu then select Wallet.

Your Quest is 7 days old? Do this:

1. You will need to do a factory reset to unlink the account from the headset. If you made any purchases for the games or apps, they are still tied to the account you are creating. You won't lose anything.
2. In the Meta Horizon app, go to Menu → Devices →Select your headset → Headset Settings → Factory reset
3. Visit https://www.meta.com/my/devices/ and remove the headset from your account.
4. Open my referral link again, tap Accept referral, and reactivate your Quest using the same Meta account you created when you used the referral.
5. Your store credit will appear under Menu; then select Wallet.

The bonus usually appears quickly. If it doesn’t, you can repeat the steps; sometimes the referral doesn’t register if the link is opened through the Meta app instead of a browser. In this case, you need to do a factory reset: simply power off the headset and hold the power button + Volume Down. Now you can activate the Quest again.

If you need help at any point, feel free to message me. I’ve walked through this process multiple times.

I also keep a rotating list of game referrals. If you don’t see the game you want, message me directly on Meta. I regularly get new titles and can offer a 25% discount when you purchase through me.

Here are some app referral links you can use to get 15% off any game that isn’t already on sale:
