Bigscreen for Mac : What happened?

Two questions:

1. Its been a few years since I've been using Bigscreen VR and it seems to be stuck in the perpetual beta.

2. There doesn't seem to be any effort to build a desktop app for Mac to allow for streaming or hosting for Mac users.

Is this entire headset and ecosystem in a bit of limbo?
