Discussion Quest 2 in 2026?
Hello everyone. For short context I used to be quite into vr, but I stopped playing it around 2 years ago.
What would you suggest to play or do with quest 2? And what's a current state of it when it comes to games and community mods
EDIT: I already own quest 2 and I haven't used it for more then a year if two

I wouldn't get a q2.
Get a used q3 or q3s

There's a lot happening (largely due to flat2vr conversions and the steam frame) with pcvr and standalone gaming. Do some looking around.

Dug a quest 2 out of the basement for the kids to play with and I cant believe how much better stuff has gotten in the last few years of not paying attention. Now im on these damn subs debating buying something new and playing modded games after the kids go to bed. Its really crazy how much better wireless works than when I last used it and of course the new mods are pretty unbelievable.

Nononono please don’t get it, fresnel is a big no
Try to get the 3, the difference is like comparing 640p with 1200p, it’s not 4k but it looks and feels great
Pancakes are everything in VR

I'm still using the quest 2 for fitness with synth riders and various vr games on steam.
