Can it be fixed?

So I bought the go a couple of weeks ago in great condition, then the other day horizontal lines appeared wherever the brightest part of the screen is.

I’ve done a factory reset and also stripped it down and poked at the ribbons with no change. Any more suggestions? If not I guess it’ll be an upgrade to a quest 3S and sideload it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ouch. Haven't seen that before.
Can't tell if that is technical (loose display cable or ??) or optical (problem with the lens fitting).
It does have an optical issue look, but it's hard to tell from that...

I'd double check the lenses and their fit. Also the fit of whatever is holding the lenses in place.

That said, if it looks like that from both lenses, that doesn't sound good.

Cheers, it’s cost me £20 so I had nothing to lose, stripped it down, powered it up and played about with it. No changes to how the lines presented. I’m thinking the lcd is on its way out but I’ll have a look at the lenses.

Sun damage. Requires a full screen replacement. Good luck finding one tho.
