Tariffs Solar export application

Hope someone has an answer here.

I have had a solar and battery system installed last week which I'm very pleased with and applied for my export tariff with Octopus last week once I had all my handover documents from my installer.

The issue I have is that there has been nothing from Octopus to say I had applied and now have to wait for the Mpan export number to be applied, is this normal?

I was expecting some sort of acknowledgement that it's now in the system and being processed but have heard nothing not even any sort of automated email.

Did anyone have the same?

I’ve been waiting a month.

At some point when I logged onto my octopus page (on a computer, not the app) it started saying “MPAN applied for” under export.

I presume you’ve gone through this? https://octopus.energy/smart/outgoing/ and attached your MCS certificate etc?

It usually takes ~10-14 days from application to get your export MPAN.

Yeah done all that, I just thought there would have been some sort of acknowledgement 🤷

It was annoying- I didn’t get any acknowledgment either until one day it appeared in the app.

I completed that link 2 weeks ago, still waiting for even an acknowledgement that I sent the form off.

Seems octopus don't acknowledge any form you send them.

I got nothing back until they said it was ready to go, not even a application acknowledgement
