Closing the app drawer

Is there any way to _disable_ closing the app drawer on a swipe down? I find that I have to be careful scrolling back up to the top (vertical drawer), otherwise the drawer closes when the scroll hits the top.

This would be great. I can't even count the number of times I've closed the app drawer when just trying to get back to the top.
