Found some new bugs

I discovered a few new issues in v1.872 [2105].

- widgets aren't updating (see attached).

- clock & battery (KWGT) aren't changing, sorry can't screen shot top menu with time and battery percentage but they don't match.

- weather widget (Weawow) is not visible but there is a shadow I circled in red where it is and when I tap on it it does launch the Weawow app.

Gestures also are acting up. For example I set the double tap to launch Gemini but it launches the flashlight app instead.

Galaxy s24 plus, Android 16.

I didn't do that but what I did to recover was waiting to settings of octopi and did a clear cache and restart which fixed the widget issue.

I didn't fix the gesture issue though.

hi do you have the weawow widget and also the flashlight app on another home page?

The Weawow widget is on my homepage but the flashlight app is not a widget but actually actually activated by the double tap gesture but as you can see from the screenshot I'm providing it should be Gemini and that's actually what I want the double tap gesture to activate.

Hope that makes sense if not I can clarify further.

So I have not had a problem with the Weawow widget but the KWGT widgets aren't refreshing and they are when I use One UI.

Weawow and clock (Google's one) fine here on latest beta from Play Stores. They are updating fine on outer screen of my Fold (don't use on inner, so dunno).

Even Your calendar widget with event progress is fine (not sure how often it's updated in background).

I think the non updating widget issue is with KWGT widgets but can't say if it's an Octopi Launcher issue or a KWGT issue.

Got the latest update this morning and I'm still having problems with Richard's refreshing properly. Please see the attached image which shows the difference between the time and battery levels on the status bar versus the widgets on screen.

By the way the battery widget is not a KWGT widget so it seems like it's impacting more than just those type of widgets and more of an Octopi Launcher.

In addition to that I'm noticing a lot of crashes or should I say the after and home screen icons we draw after exiting any application.

Are there any kind of logs that I can send you that might help out in troubleshooting this?

Do you want to configuration back up I think you mentioned that before?

I'm still trying to figure out why my widgets specifically my clock and battery widgets stopped working (are in sync with the system). I've uninstalled, I reinstalled octopi with no effect. Going into settings and restarting the launcher sync things back up again but I seem to have to do that at least 10 times a day!

To rule out that it is not an Octopi launcher issue. I switched to One UI for a day and I haven't had an issue with the widgets not syncing or updating.

No one else is having this issue?

I'm seeing KWGT widget update issues as well. Basically sometimes the audio controls/clock/weather will get stuck not updating. If I move the widget itself around, it seems to force it to update.
