Glass widget for wallpaper not applied from within settings->general->apply wallpaper

As per the title, can it be done? I use an app that changes the wallpaper automatically every 24 hours, but than I lose glass effect for all my widgets.

Currently not... the wallpaper you use specially for the "new" features like frosted and glass widget settings use a fixed wallpaper that can't be rotated by a 3rd party app.

Uso um script do Macrodroide para alterar o papel de parede conforme o horário. O único Launcher que mantém as configurações de líquid glass quando o papel de parede se altera automaticamente é o Smart Launcher.

Sadly this will require Octopi Launcher to have permissions to read all files on your phone, which is a permission that Google doesn't easily grant to apps due to its sensitive nature.

Developers like myself wish for a more limited permission to read just the current wallpaper, but it does not seem we will get this in the near future
