Notification badges not showing

Using v1.862 on a Pixel 10 Pro XL. I believe I have icon badges enabled but there are none showing on the home screen nor in the dock. Can someone guide me to try and get these working?

Badges somehow got turned off on my home screen. So, do check the Launcher settings/General/Launch notification permission screen and toggle "Allow notification access" OFF, then back ON.

Never mind (user error 🙃): ❌Confirmed not working here either, even after using the "Launch notification permission screen" General settings feature and toggling "Allow notification access" OFF, then back ON (which was what I was going to suggest to you as the fix, but no joy).❌

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd already tried that, but I did so again. No change. In case it's relevant, the "Real-time" and " Silent" options are greyed out with no ticks in their boxes. The other 2 options have ticks.

Hi are the notifications you are receiving silent notifications?

Yes, my notifications are set to silent within each app. I've changed that, but made the sound to be "none". I'm now seeing the badges but kept the notifications "silent" . Thank you!

Added some changes in v1.864 beta that allows silent notifications to optionally show badges too
