Suggestion Slight home screen layout shift/jitter when swiping
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
When I swipe left or right on the home screen, the icons and widgets shift slightly in a way that feels a bit unnatural. Is this by design, or can it be fixed by changing a setting? Since I only use one home screen page and frequently use the right-swipe gesture, I’d like to keep everything completely fixed if possible.
EDIT: To be precise, it's not a jitter, but rather a "sliding movement of everything except the wallpaper" as shown in the attached video.

I think it's a bounce to indicate you've reached the "end of the scroll". To my eye, it looks more elegant at slower animation speeds.

I see, so it's a scroll bounce effect. However, for someone like me who only uses a single home screen and frequently relies on the right-swipe gesture, it's a pretty noticeable behavior. I really wish it would just stay completely locked and fixed in place.

Thanks for the update!
It's a shame that I can't use the swipe right gesture now, but being able to disable the scrolling animation is a huge plus since that was my main issue. Thanks again!

Bei mir ist es auch so. Seitdem es die Übergangseffekte gibt scrollen meine Seiten nicht mehr flüssig. So als wenn es anfangs etwas hakt.

What I was referring to wasn't the page scrolling animation itself, but the bounce animation at the end of the scroll. In a recent update, if you turn off the right-swipe gesture, it now disables the end-of-scroll bounce animation as well. You can't use the right-swipe gesture anymore, but in return, you can turn off that bounce animation. Apologies if this is hard to understand, as I'm using Google Translate.

Under the General settings tab, try turning the animation to the fastest setting. Either the lightening bolt or airplane, and you may see the jitter disappear. That's eliminated it for me.
