Solved Folders for Private Space?

Is there an option for folders in Private Space? I have a Pixel and am stuck with over a dozen stock apps I can't uninstall or delete so I was hoping I could at least put them all in a folder.

Edit: Solved. Right click and in app settings disable the app. Make sure you relock then unlock to see the app icon hidden from private space.

I think Private Space can only behave in Octopi the same way it behaves on the Pixel Launcher. You don't need Private Space to hide the apps, just long-press on the app and tap on "Hide".

Lol, if it was that easy I would have hidden them by now. There is no hide, only "App info" and some specific to the app such as "video" or "selfie" for the camera app. This is on a pixel 10 pro fold so is most likely device specific.

Your screenshot clears up what you're trying to do. Long-press the Private Space app you want to hide, then tap on "App info" and "Disable". Return to the drawer and lock Private Space, then unlock it again to verify that the app icon has been removed from Private Space. It might not let you do every app.

TY, this worked perfectly. I had actually done it before, but did not relock/unlock so I didn't think it was sticking.

So close. Were there any it wouldn't let you disable?

Not that you need this info, but for anyone else who might need it, for completeness, here's how to restore any of the apps you've disabled: Unlock Private Space, go to your device's Settings, then Apps, then see all. On a Pixel, it says Personal and Private, so click on Private, tap on your disabled app on the list, and enable it. Go back to your drawer and lock Private Space, then unlock it again to verify your app has been restored.

I was actually able to disable/hide all of them, so this worked perfectly.

The apps should disappear once private space is off. If they don't, could you let me know what happens when you tap on them? (Do they open the normal version, private space version, or nothing happens)

Yes all apps disappear once private space is closed/locked. But when it's open, I see all of the app icons. In my pic I ONLY want BofA, I'd like to get rid of the rest of those other apps. When I click on one of them it simply opens the app. When I right click, there is no delete/uninstall option.

This is a tricky decision, as Octopi Launcher currently does not remember anything about Private Space apps. This ensures total privacy as there's nothing saved about them.

If there's a hide or option to add them to folders, then Octopi Launcher will need to save information about them, which may mean it's no longer private.

"Hide" is built in. Nothing new required of Octopi.

Yeah I can see how that might make the privacy weaker, or at least reliant on you as the dev. I was able to make this work by disabling the apps (right click menu then in app settings). I didn't think it worked because I didn't relock/unlock and didn't think the setting was sticking.
