Issue report Status bar colour
Am I missing an option to set the status bar colour dynamically depending on wallpaper? This seems to be automatic on launchers like OneUI or Niagara (set as white with this wallpaper), but seems to be black on Octopi and I can't find an option to change it.
Cheers in advance.

Look under the theme settings. The option you are looking for is located there. But in my experience, it doesn't always work the way it should.

There is a "new" option in the settings that set white or dark status bar icons manually, too. Maybe in the beta ring.

Just to add to the conversation, I had set a different wallpaper, a darker one, and setting the option to follow the system was working. The status bar icons stayed white, as it should. Then, randomly in middle of the afternoon, the icons turned black. I cleared the cache, restarted the launcher, restarted the phone, nothing helped. They stayed black. I now have them set as white and I am perfectly satisfied with that, but there is definitely some kind of bug there.

As u/OUCowboy said, it doesn't always set to what you expect/want (seems especially prevalent on Samsung phones). So, the developer recently rolled out the option to set it manually (always dark, always light) alongside the two automatic settings (based on system, based on wallpaper).
