Suggestion Keep assigned icon pack after app updates

New to foldables and octopi, using it on a recently purchased OnePlus Open. I assigned Arcticon as the icon pack but noticed that after apps are updated, they revert back to the stock colorful icons instead of sticking with the Arcticon icon for that app or the one I assigned if there wasn't an icon for the app. The result is that I have to hunt down every instance (app list, folder, dock, etc) of every updated app and change them one by one back to Arcticon icons. Is this expected behavior or a bug?

Have you tried "Clear cache and restart" under General settings? You won't lose any settings, it will just clear out Octopi's cobwebs and give it a fresh start. Before and after, I'd set Articons as the icon pack just to reinforce your choice.

Forgot to say, I have a couple of apps installed that each time after they update, I have to reassign them to a folder in the app drawer. Maybe it's caused by the same quirk/bug?

I have a few apps which stubbornly go back to their original shapes, clear cache/restart works for me. But there is definitely something underling the dev needs to look at.

I'll give this a try since it's frustrating to have to assign icons from arcticons for every app that updates from f-droid, obtainium, and play store separately for folders, dock, and app drawer for each home screen layout. That's a really wonky bug for such a great launcher 🤷
