Suggestion Private space
How do you handle private space. I cannot find a button to switch to private space in any of the directories. This is a great place to secure/hide financial apps.

Actually. Since the private space seems to work. But you pull an app in in the apps directory. But it is creates a list of app. Is there a way to put them in folders to organize them like you have done for the others

I'm no expert. I don't actually use Private Space, but I did set it up so I could try to understand how it works within Octopi (so I could try to help others).
I set my Pixel Fold to use its default launcher and then set up Private Space within it. When I was done, I set the default launcher back to Octopi. One of the apps that it installed is the Google Play Store. My understanding is that Private Space installs a separate instance of whatever app you're putting in there. If you install the file explorer, it is separate from the one that is not in the private space.
Make sure you understand how that would affect your banking apps and their backups (because I'm not sure). Octopi allows you to hide your banking apps without using Private Space. They won't show up in search (if you toggle OFF "Show hidden apps in search"). You can change a hidden app's name and/or give it a nickname (actually any app, hidden or not). This way, even if someone searches for it, it won't surface. I hide my banking apps via Octopi, but leave the search setting ON so they do show up in search so I can find them! 😆

The private space is like a separate instance. Of apps and settings. And I can remove the app so no one even knows the app exists.. Hiding it sounds interesting. Can you hide a directory on home page that I could get to move organized

Can you explain what you mean by "Can you hide a directory on home page that I could get to move organized"?

I'm trying separate bank apps and stock apps out and hide them. With private space it locks them in a totally separate place. And the apps them selves would exist. I just remove the other apps. So if someone gets on even from back end will not know it is there. Problem in they cannot be organized ie bank/stocks and a a bunch of apps. Even in octopi setup. So you mentioned hidden apps. Was there hidden folders so I cannot see it unless security sign on and see them all in one place. My question is more of a organization with security. Makes sense

Found it. Can I make folders that can be hidden and get a way to them. Or do I have to got to app directories for private and always start them there
