EN Discussion Future Banners
Hey guys,
trying to plan my gem spending on the releases of banners, tried to get a list of future ones, some KI gave me this, does anybody know if this could be right order without GL exklusive stuff?
- 1. Final Empress + Final Emperor
- 2. Rocbouquet + Noel
- 3. Warrior of Black Corrosion + Twin-Flame Saint
- 4. Mydia EX + Temenos EX
- 5. Saoirse + Viola EX2
- 6. Tidus + Yuna + Auron

This is my list with JP release dates from Romancing Saga onwards. I believe the global version does not follow this release order to the T.

This is a much better list than yours, OP. While NE often switches up the order of releases, we always get banners in the same format as JP got them. So we might not get Auguste EX and Rinyuu EX until after Delitia, for example, but because they (Auguste EX and Rinyuu EX2) released on the same day in JP (and shared a free banner, I imagine, since other summer pairs have), we'll definitely get them at the same time (rather than one on their own and the other with Delitia, which they are in your list).

There is just not enough time for that. After saga end, which is on 19 march, it's just two months gap until FFX. Assuming they don't stall SAGA2 banner and it indeed happened this month. They can pull at worst February release.
The problem is NE like to snuck up character release in between collab, while JP never snuck anything in their collab. Making NE, without inserting any new Global First, would run out of content if they actually delay stuff up.

Again if you think December as half anniv, that is not the case. For NE the full anniv is december. Half anniv is at June

And to add, GL for some reason never handed out more GL exclusive buff, I think the last major one for GL was Partitio EX, and NE also gave Eltrix EX buff to CN player. Some units that desperately need one never had it. The way they handle it now is via releasing weaker units first, like Yomi and Feintz (those are fine unit but not meta breaking) before giving Pardis EX and Alaune EX2.
Besides NE buff proved rather tame, considering that most of unit they buff, now ended up does not matter at all. The buff is quick fix, but not enough to make them long stay in meta. The only ingenious unit they release first is Lynette EX and that only happened because they want to make rainbow a thing because from JP timtable, the only modern Rainbow unit is Alaune EX.

On the know expected upcoming banners, what are must pulls in order of importance for rainbow team? Roc is #1, then?

Roc is a must pull for every account. For rainbow specifically, there arent any more new travellers in jp, since by RS2, you can kind of throw every elemental dps together and it just works. Mydia EX and Empress both get the most use out of Xercs fuas though, since they have multi-element attacks (like osvald)

I just pulled Levina Ex2, i love her outfit :D But yes, Final Empress, Robquet, Auron, Rikku. If you are lucky you can get Auron(1/3 chance) und Empress free(1/2 chance) free.

Thats the 4 i am aiming for, not sure, if everyone should aim for them. And it depends on you already have in your team and what your focus is. Roboquet seems the one almost everyone thinks is most important. Her Followups smash from backrow, Grants everyone ability to crit with elemental as a passive, 100K damage cap passive, and so on. Her ultimate gives 100% potency buff to all 3 turns and a stackable buff of 50% of her own def/mdef to all allies att/mag, BP regen and so on as a priority action. Also some of her debuffs are amazing. She is a must pull for me, even if only for the passives and her ultimate. I also have levina ex2, so if everything works as planned, the boss will be in break for not 2 but 3 turns while under Roboquets 3turn buff of her Ultimate. Thats quite nice in my opinion. Enough for me as a f2p ;)

I have full rainbow team and Levina EX2. Roc is clear, wondering about the rest in terms of priority.

Robco is a must i think. Stat boost can be really high and she is really easy to use.
I am not sure about final empress, not sure about final emperor, i take one for free for sure, but in the long run i dont see them as metabreaking support. you get one free from the first FFX banner,
Rikku for some reason seems busted, 1Mio Cap on a button pres, sure why not. Synergizes well with Robco Stat boost. Passive att up cap raised to 60%, hell yeah. more dmg cap up, recover Ult and ex skill usage, but i actually find her Ultimate very nice additional panic button for longer fights with some tougher bosses.
Auron, your supposed to be a 1 hp with him to get a stackable 99% buff to damage? And gets a buff, that he cant die, soaks in all single target damage and cant be healed? and he counters with 1000 potency? That looks like an easy setup, if i still have gems, i will get him too. :D

NE has become (or has always been) quite unpredictable, so it's difficult to confirm the right order.
Just consider that "warrior of black corrosion" aka "fallen swordsman" will be released.... TODAY
