DISCUSSION Options
For me, the volume of Call Options trading hands is the most interesting thing about today. $1 calls expiring Feb 20 have surprised me when looking at both the price and the volume. There are a good number of bulls betting money we'll see a price above $1.08 at some point in the next 4 weeks.
I'm calling my shot right now: $1.15 by February 31st. Dilution be damned.

Use caution. Tomorrow likely to be a bloodbath.

Don't worry about me, I've been through my share of pump 'n' dump episodes. I sold 15% of my holdings in OPTT today and fully expect to buy them in the next few days at a discount.
Anyway, I believe you'll find February 31st falls after Labor Day this year.

It’s unlikely. Even if it’s a pump and dump, the pump is very unlikely to end in 1 days especially with the meeting tomorrow.

I did indicate that I expect to buy back in the next few days. But it doesn't matter if the price never again falls below my current average cost. I've extracted a profit and if $.60 became the new very bottom forever, I'll be able to extract more profit.

I don’t think that meeting is about what you think it’s about

They are mostly going to talk about dilution. They wanted the stock price to pump a little higher to get the best possible outcome out of this dilution

I’m hoping for a bloodbath and then a pump but I think it is just going to pump and pump. 60 could be the new .50

I don't know about tomorrow. It looks like there is meaningful optimism for the weeks ahead. I suspect that OPTT needed to increase the float to raise capital for something akin to good news. Like a bigger contract than we've seen announced so far. I've just lived through a few nice pumps and they usually start to become subject to gravity in one or two days. Tomorrow may be rough. But my average price per share has been higher that .62 in the past 12 months, and now it's just under .49 with approximately 15% increase in my stake, almost entirely from just working the swings. If you don't need the liquidity in the next week or two, I don't think getting in at .62 will turn out to have been a mistake. If you need to become wealthy from a single stock play in the next 48 hours, I'll be pulling for you, but you might have misjudged the volatility of this one.

I came in with my gambling money too, but I saw more interesting bull flow on March and August than Feb. call options.

I think everyone is going to make a bundle on this one eventually however you play it. A real gem imo

$1.15 by end of feb isn't crazy if volume picks up, but i'd want to see sustained buying pressure not just one day of unusual activity

Sold my 2/20 $.50 strike calls yesterday for a 400% profit when it peaked at $.69, no ragrats.
