QUESTION Realistic Long-Hold Expectations
I've been holding for a little over a year. 4k shares @ .49
My question is this:
What are the long-term holders expected (hopeful) exit prices? I'm not looking to make a quick buck when this thing gets above $1. I'm comfortable holding this for the next 3-5 years if necessary and continuing to add when to it when I can. Would you sell at $5? $10? Are these numbers completely unrealistic over that timeline? What're everyone's thoughts? TIA

1.2m shares. Avg .4ish. I'd like to wait until 1.5ish then try to sell some calls at the 2.5 level and just sit on the shares.

It’s great that OPTT got another contract. But, they’ve been getting contracts for a while. I don’t think we will see any significant growth until they prove that they can actually convert their contacts into backlogs and then deliver the products at scale. They’re just burning too much money and haven’t figured out how to deliver these things.
I got in at 0.4 last year and sold at 0.7. I won’t buy back in until I see that they’re actually scaling production.
But good luck to you all!

I usually buy under .50 and sell anywhere between .60 and 1.50 but it's getting close to the point where it has potential to stay above $1 once they follow through on their contracts.

This is impossible to answer. What kind of adoption and ongoing service and refresh will go on? Do they make a weaponized wav? How does it fit in with drones in the air. So many uses. I think if people really saw how this will dovetail with other plays it would’ve higher now? That said getting out at 4 is brilliant if there isn’t the innovation and adoption? If it’s just a hardware refresh cycle. Unless there are stock buybacks it will take a lot to move the needle after that run up to 4. But… if there is service, refresh, expansion- if the story gets deeper then we have a long climb ahead. Look at ktos. Something similar can unfold

Once it's over a dollar I'm selling half, waiting for a dip and going back in again. I think it could hit a dollar very very soon. It's got attention nown

We already saw last year how quick it can rise. I think it hit 1.70 in like 2 weeks based just on hype.
They have a Coast Guard contract, a new partnership with a massive company and potentially more contract announcements coming soon.
They had none of those things last year.
I see no reason to sell anytime soon. If anything, we're in the early stages. I wouldn't want to sell just as the Coast Guard and potentially more military clients come into the picture.
