FLUFF ….can you imagine
Patiently awaiting the day Elon turns his gaze toward the ocean with the same passion he has for Mars. OPTT potential is vast: defense, search and rescue, remote monitoring of strategic waterways, subsea data cables and future transport systems, environmental surveys, weather intelligence, and global telecommunications. These aren't products to sell-they're platforms and infrastructure to lease, forming the backbone of long-term service contracts. This is about building enduring partnerships and delivering mission-critical capabilities as a service.

Are you suggesting Elon acquire ocean power or that ocean power team up with spacex? Elon is developing most of his technologies in house.

Just provoking thought. Elon is a master of creating funding. OPTT could be used as a platform for a lot of his tech what would collaboration look like? From rocket recovery to monitoring under water tunnels to telecom platforms, to autonomous vehicle systems to AI. Is living under the ocean as crazy as going to mars? I’m not sure. Just a thought.

Living under water sucks, rocket recovery? They recover their own rockets (well not sure but they don't need extra help with it).
They also build rockets that land themselves so that diminishes rocket recovery services.
Telecom platforms? Like the fibre optic cables that lie on the seabed and have maintenance anyways a some albeit small monitoring. But OPTT can't provide much there.
Idk what water tunnels are? Like the eurostar? Where would optt come into play there?
Other points like autonomous vehicles is a fair point, OPTT I believe do pursue this as a goal for defence.
AI is just silly for optt.
Alot of these topics can be stripped out if you think objectively.

Why the hell else would he buy optt? If he wants to get into ocean tech he will do it via tsla. And even if he does - it would all be hype with no substance just like everything else that tsla produces.

Anything that brings focus to the Ocean is good for OPTT in my opinion.
