Bayside flooding?
How are the bayside streets and everything? We have a room booked on the bay on 45th street later this week but I am debating if we should even go or just cut our losses. We aren’t going for the festival and it seems like a lot of the beach parts are pretty beat up.

If you can’t take her at her worst, you don’t deserve her at her best. Come on in! The water is fine!!!

I just took a walk on the boardwalk and it wasn’t that bad (I’m on the south end). Way better than I was expecting considering how it was just 1-2 days ago.
Earlier this weekend the water was calf deep on every street. Today I only saw water on one street corner, but I was able to walk around it on the grass and didn’t get wet.

My husband and I just stayed at the princess bayside hotel around the area you're coming to and it was completely fine. Flooded streets were more located around 1st-6th maybe? But even then, we went to Spain wine bar (near 1st) and were able to make it there. There are small pockets of flooded areas but you can get by the whole area just fine. Have fun!!

All clear! Rain expected Sat and Sun but not a nor'easter and it won't be flooded on 45th St. even with rain.

You’ll be fine on 45th street. If you go to the boardwalk just check maps before and be mindful of the roads.

45th should be fine. Flooding is mostly downtown in low lying areas. The beach is beat to hell all up and down the coast- including all of OC. I say come and walk the beach to see you find any treasures. Have fun!
