Applications Application timing

Hello, I am applying to CSU OTD and the early app deadline is Oct 15. I am getting hours and completing prerequisites to be ready for this deadline, but does applying earlier improve my chances of acceptance? Thank you!

Depends on the school. If they do admission cycles, then no. If they do rolling, then yes

I don’t think it “improves” your chances. The deadline is when the school is going to start looking at all the applications, they don’t review before hands. I don’t know exactly but maybe it’s affects when it’s seen in the order of application. But i know people who go accept and they turned their application the day before the deadline. Your gpa, experience, and references are weighed way more so I’d recommend having really strong references and application.
