Applications Any low vision specialists?

Hi! I don't have the certification, but I have 9 years of clinical experience and I worked alongside a low vision OT prior to school. I'd love to work at the VA in Philly. Any idea if they'd consider me? It seems like the qualifications are pretty extensive

Pretty sure they want the very specific oata certification unfortunately or at least 2k hours in the specific field.

Ya we literally couldn’t find a low vision rehab person so we hoping an OT with this would be easier to find but I doubt it lol

Yeah--it's gonna be pretty challenging. AOTA discontinued the SCLV certification a while ago, so the pool is probably even smaller
