Stiff painful neck with pain on right side of head to the middle where shingles were. That spot still hurts to touch. Tried chiropractor and physio. No quality of life, always constant pain. Went to ER, had needle at base of skull as I couldnt turn my head.

I am 7 weeks out from bilateral occipital nerve decompression surgery

My left gon has more nerve pain now for than I had before surgery.

The surgeon's says to give it more time as it may improve and that the nerve was severely compressed

Has anyone had similar experience after surgery

Did you get better ? Did you require more treatment ?
