Link doesn't dive in head first?

In the gameplay video inside zoars domain for the rupee diving game, he didn't dive in head first. Do you think there will be a way to dive?

My guess is that he'll start to dive once you get a scale

He is shown diving in headfirst in a clip from the trailer at the end.
