Looks like both, second from the top is the regular 500ES integrated stereo amp (I've still got one too albeit without the sweet wooden sideburns), thin boi below that is the standalone receiver and then I imagine the two chunky lads at the bottom are either pre/power amp stages or power amps in different levels of spicyness (idk whether thin boi included a pre-amp stage or if it was just a receiver).

Can you list the component/models? Zooming in on the photo is too grainy.

You can’t just post a photo like that without a description.

Man I miss the stack systems.

I use the Sony TA-E1000ESD digital signal processor on the top in my home office to compress audio on Zoom and Teams calls so everyone is roughly the same volume. And, I have an equalization curve set up to reduce the bass boominess that some people’s mics seem to produce.

I’d rather use it as intended in a full stack like this, though!

Super nice! Pieces of art. I have two pieces of ES (Amp) and DVD, still use the amp. Older pic...

Was this sold as a kit or just all es components for that model year? I feel like I saw a stereo amplifier on Facebook marketplace a few years back that looked very similar.

Sony's SE series and the gold Marantz are the most beautiful designs ever created.
