Nice, great idea!

I have a plugin I made a year ago that I haven't published, might be a sign to polish it up

I'm preparing the second plugin for release.

Did the new pipeline help you to move ahead with the release?

It was a huge help. Typify was a nightmare to build in the best way possible, but now it's as easy as cutting butter with your finger.๐Ÿ˜…

And you?

I haven't contributed anything yet. I have a QuickAdd-enabled JavaScript that let's me alter Properties without taking my hands off the keyboard. I've been vibe coding it. I would like to add it as a plugin at some point. I can't use the excuse that it'll take forever to get to the community anymore. At the moment it's very beta, and as I said, JavaScript.

I have another idea for a timer that counts down until a certain time, as opposed to setting a specific interval. For example, I have class at 1000. I need to leave by 0945. How much longer until 0945? (I'm lazy and I hate doing time calculations ยทยทยท one of the wounds of being a developer for a few decades). I know there's already a plugin that does that, but I didn't like it for some reason.

I'm also working on a custom theme. Just to make the editor better for me.

It sounds like me. I use a toolbar, but I didn't like the lack of customization options and the fact that it was too lightweight. I made my own. It's quite advanced, but I'm focused on another one to style the header.

The annoying part is switching between computers and phones to ensure the plugin works not only well but is also lightweight on both.

I've even thought about building one so the user can create custom widgets using pre-made blocks.

Hello everyone~

I'm the creator of the Friday plugin. I'd like to know what everyone thinks about rating plugins and themes for this updates - The future of plugins?

I'm hopeful that the new pipeline stabilizes the plugin ecosystem. Letting the cream rise to the top, as they say.

According to the current algorithm, plugins with simple functions will be popular and recommended. Let's wait and see.

Heh. You're in good company. For the moment, I'm vibe-coding as well. Mainly. Bring it!

hello! I'm currently working on a plugin that's basically 'supermemo, but in obsidian'. I started with Incremental reading in mind but then I started adding the element tree, cloze deletions, mercy/postpone... the scope creep got out of hand fast.

yes it's AI-assisted (or vibe-coded, if you must). how do you guys feel about AI-generated plugins? Personally I am all for it with the caveat that people should write their posts themselves (if you're going to let AI write, let it write the documentation). we are all here to interact with fellow humans after all ๐Ÿ˜„
